One of the hardest things that a person with diabetes has to deal with is making
healthy food choices at a big family gathering. Let your family members with diabetes
know that you’re on THEIR side by bringing or serving a variety of low fat, high
fiber foods. That means lots of fruits and vegetables . . . lean meats, fish and
chicken, and whole grain breads, peas, and beans. Help your family members control
their diabetes . . . for life! This message brought to you by Ohio KePRO, under
contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
